How We Got Here
Before finally purchasing a home in 2023, we lived in 12 different apartment complexes over 12 years — across 3 states. While each community had its own layout and name, many things stayed the same: similar amenities, similar floorplans, and unfortunately, the same recurring issues with trash.
We saw firsthand how often hallways became cluttered — especially when trash compactors were out of order or when residents simply didn’t have time to make the long walk to the dumpster. In some cases, we could have stayed in the same unit, even with a rent increase — but ultimately chose to move because the common areas felt neglected, and the daily inconvenience wore on us.
GoodCan Co. was born out of those experiences — a commitment to making life just a little easier, a little cleaner, and a lot more pleasant for residents and property managers alike.
